Meal Planning III

Breakfast
Smoothie (rice protein vitamin, flax oil, frozen berries, banana, water)
Breakfast sausages (Applegate Farms nitrate free, GF)
Avocado

Snack
Apple

Lunch (at GHM)
GF peas & carrots
GF mixed veggies
GF chicken breast
GF Quinoa Pudding
GF roasted potatoes (sweet potatoes and white potatoes)
GF brownie

Snack
Colby cheese
Caraway Crackers (Marys Gone Crackers GF seed crackers)

Dinner
Steamed fresh broccoli, olive oil, garlic, sea salt)
Short grain brown rice with butter
Baked chicken with lemon, pepper, butter and mozarella cheese
Strawberries with a little goat yogurt

It is nice to have lunch at Good Harvest Market. The hot bar has lots of GF options, usually about 70-80 % of the options, and they are easily identified/well labeled. Bonus: no prep time, no dishes to clean!

Meal Planning II

Breakfast
Scrambled eggs
Bacon (Applegate Farms nitrate free is also GF)
Plain whole milk yogurt over fresh strawberries
Mango

Lunch
Twice Baked Potatoes (butter, green onion, leftover bacon from breakfast broken up, cheddar cheese, sour cream)
Steamed frozen peas
Sliced turkey breast (Applegate farms nitrate free is also GF)

Snack
Ants on a log (celery, raisins, peanut butter)
Apple

Dinner
Three Bean Soup (carrots, butter, celery, water, strained tomatoes, onion, garlic, sea salt, green pepper, navy, black and kidney beans)....Ben likes to call it "Too Many Bean Soup"

Thankfully, she seems to be tolerating dairy again!

Meal Planning

A day of food in our gluten free life...

Breakfast
Smoothie (Frozen strawberries, banana, yogurt, flax oil, probiotic, coconut milk)
Gluten free waffle (Vans) with butter & real maple syrup

Lunch
Lentil patties (lentils, carrots, onion, ground up GF oats, GF soy sauce, GF bread crumbs)
GF Ketchup
Fresh steamed broccoli
Frozen steamed peas
Milk

Snack
Ants on a log (celery with peanut butter and raisins)

Dinner
Baked organic chicken (with lemon, butter, sea salt, pepper, and cilantro)
Quinoa pilaf (quinoa, carrots, peppers, green onion, oregano, butter, celery, sea salt)
Roasted cauliflower with butter and mozarella cheese
Fresh strawberries topped with goat yogurt
Water with fresh squeezed lemon
